A former professional cyclist, Sergio competed at the highest level for 5 years, gaining invaluable experience on both domestic and international roads. He has had the honor of competing in prestigious events such as Strade Bianchi—which he raced twice—alongside some of the best in the sport, including Tadej Pogacar and Mathieu Van der Poel. In 2024, Sergio participated in the Vuelta al Algarve, racing alongside the two-time World Champion Remco Evenepoel.
